Covered by most manufacturer window film companies; protects against cracking, peeling, demetallizing, unusual change of color (i.e. purple), and bubbling. Tinting product must be used in compliance with all applicable laws, if product violates any applicable law, warranty through manufacturer is voided.

LLumar® Paint Protection Film Limited Warranty

LLumar offers manufacturer-backed warranty coverage on professionally installed paint protection film when applied by an authorized LLumar dealer on fully cured OEM painted vehicle surfaces. Below is a clear breakdown of the warranty coverage for LLumar Valor Series and LLumar Platinum Matte Series.

Valor Series

12-Year Limited Warranty

LLumar Valor Series includes a 12-year limited warranty, making it one of the longest warranty options in the LLumar paint protection film lineup. It is designed for drivers who want premium long-term protection and strong manufacturer-backed coverage.

Platinum Matte Series

10-Year Limited Warranty

LLumar Platinum Matte Series includes a 10-year limited warranty and is a great option for drivers who want a satin or stealth-style finish with long-lasting paint protection and dependable manufacturer support.

Important PPF Warranty Notes

Warranty coverage is valid only when the film is installed by a LLumar dealer or installer and maintained according to recommended care instructions. LLumar states that the vehicle should not be washed or waxed for at least 3 days after installation, or 7 days if average daily temperatures are below 55°F. The warranty can be voided by abuse, improper care, abrasive or unapproved cleaning agents, or certain added surface coatings other than ceramic coating.

GTECHNIQ Ceramic Coating Guarantee

GTECHNIQ offers manufacturer-backed guarantee coverage on professionally applied ceramic coatings when installed by a GTECHNIQ Accredited Detailer and registered within 30 days of application. Below is a clear breakdown of the guarantee coverage for Crystal Serum Light and Crystal Serum Ultra.

Crystal Serum Light

5-Year Guarantee

GTECHNIQ Crystal Serum Light carries a 5-year non-transferable guarantee from the date of application when installed by a GTECHNIQ Accredited Detailer and properly registered. It is designed for qualifying passenger vehicles with OEM gloss painted bodywork only.

  • 5-year non-transferable guarantee
  • Must be registered within 30 days
  • Covers noticeable staining or fading on treated OEM gloss bodywork

Excludes matte or satin paint, PPF, vinyl, decals, and commercial-use vehicles

Crystal Serum Ultra

9-Year Guarantee

GTECHNIQ Crystal Serum Ultra includes a 9-year non-transferable guarantee from the date of application when installed by a GTECHNIQ Accredited Detailer and registered within 30 days. It offers longer coverage for qualifying vehicles with treated OEM gloss painted bodywork.

  • Covers noticeable staining or fading on treated OEM gloss bodywork

Excludes matte or satin paint, PPF, vinyl, decals, and commercial-use vehicles

Important Exclusions

The guarantee excludes poor preparation or poor application, damage caused by non-GTECHNIQ products, missed annual inspections, fire, accident, collision damage, malicious damage, stone chips, extreme weather, scratching or hazing caused by improper washing methods, wear and tear, manufacturer paint defects, hydrophobic action of the coating, neglect, and poor maintenance. It also does not apply to matte or satin paint finishes, paint protection film, vinyl, decals, or livery.
